Duty Manager - AINO Private Island Hotel
AINO Private Island Hotel is seeking a highly capable and hands-on Duty Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences across all departments.
At AINO Private Island Hotel, we deliver intuitive luxury service — moving seamlessly according to guest needs. As a boutique property with 11 suites, 1 villa, Vuo Restaurant, and 2 saunas, our operation requires a proactive team member who can balance operational control with personalized hospitality.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, leads by example, and is highly proficient in hotel systems and team coordination.
Permanent Contract: Starting 7 July 2026
Work Shifts: Early, Middle, Late
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations
· Participate in the daily duties of the hotel across all departments (Reception, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage). This is a hands-on role.
· Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery with professionalism
· Ensure all service standards align with AINO’s brand and values.
· Act as team leaders and lead by example
· Teach new team members and ensure that standards are reached and kept
2. Systems & Technical Expertise (Key Focus)
· Operate check-ins, billing, and reporting through Opera PMS
· Utilize Symphony POS for food & beverage operations, reporting, and reconciliation
· Book activities for guests in FareHarbor
· Train and support team members in using all systems effectively
3. Optimization of Resources and Hours (Key Focus)
· Optimize staff rosters based on occupancy levels and operational needs
· Monitor working hours, productivity
4. Team Leadership
· Lead by example with a hands-on and supportive management style
· Motivate and guide team members to deliver exceptional guest service
· Ensure team adherence to company standards and procedures
5. Administrative Duties
· Ensure daily cash handling procedures are adhere to rules and regulations.
· Ensure stock and supply purchases are monitored and checked.
· Ensure accuracy in billing, payments of In-house guests.
Candidate Profile
· Previous experience in a luxury hotel.
· Strong proficiency in Opera PMS, Symphony POS, and FareHarbor (essential)
· Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
· Flexible, hands-on, and able to adapt in a boutique luxury environment
Staff Housing & Transportation
Staff accommodation and cars are for rent through the company (limited availability), with costs deducted from salary.
Additional Note
The Duty Manager may also be required to support operations across other company establishments such as Arctic Hidden Cloud or Arctic TreeHouse Hotel.
