Situated in the heart of the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel, Rakas Restaurant & Bar charms with its unique ambience and menu of meals made from fresh local ingredients prepared with a modern twist. We offer our guests a unique dining experience and are passionate about ensuring quality dining under the warm glow of pine cone lamps and stylish interior design. The name of our restaurant is Rakas, which is Finnish for “beloved”, and perfectly describes our understanding of what great food should be - local food with love.

✨ Job description

Our own Waitering Team plays a crucial role in the success of a restaurant locations in SantaPark Arctic World. This team works closely together with Kitchen team, to ensure extraordinary dining experiences. Waiters provide attentive service, facilitating smooth operations, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Their professionalism, product knowledge, and interpersonal skills can greatly enhance the dining experience for customers.

✨  Your responsibilities include:

  • Warmly welcoming guests

  • Excellent customer service

  • Present the menu through storytelling and taking orders

  • Food and beverage service with a good understanding of the menu items

  • Provide recommendations to customers

  • Table maintenance, ensuring that customers have everything they need

  • Transaction handling accurately and efficiently while providing courteous service

Waiters work in our different locations in Rovaniemi area:

✨ General requirements

  • Experience in à la carte service

  • Social skills, service attitude, and ability to work under pressure

  • Capable of completing work tasks independently as well as working in a team

  • Ability to take responsibility and maintain the highest level of standards

  • Problem solving skills & you are self-driven

  • Good communication skills

  • Outgoing personality

  • Positive attitude & motivation to learn

  • Fluent English language

  • Ability to legally work in Finland

Tarjoilijat huolehtivat vieraiden palvelusta, sujuvasta toiminnasta ja asiakkaiden tyytyväisyydestä. Heidän ammattitaitonsa, tuoteosaamisensa ja vuorovaikutustaitonsa parantavat merkittävästi asiakkaiden kokonaiskokemusta.
